Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service apply to The Shop Social Lounge, Body Shop Night Club, LLC, our website, memberships, events, ticket purchases, private member spaces, and related services.

By creating an account, activating or renewing a membership, purchasing a ticket, entering The Shop, attending an event, or using our website, you agree to these terms and all related Shop policies.

1. Eligibility

The Shop is a private adult members space. Membership, event access, and participation are restricted to adults age 21 and over.

By purchasing a membership or ticket, creating an account, or attending an event, you confirm that you are at least 21 years old, legally able to enter into this agreement, and responsible for your own conduct.

2. Membership & Access

• A current membership may be required to purchase tickets, attend events, or access member-only areas.
• Membership does not guarantee entry to every event. Capacity, eligibility, behavior, event requirements, and management discretion may affect access.
• The Shop may approve, deny, pause, suspend, or revoke membership at management’s discretion.
• Memberships may not be transferred, shared, resold, or used by another person.
• Members are responsible for keeping account information accurate and current.

3. Payments, Tickets, Cancellations & Refunds

• Memberships, tickets, reservations, and event purchases are subject to the terms shown at checkout and on the applicable event page.
• Memberships activate according to the purchase terms shown at the time of sale.
• Refunds, cancellations, credits, and transfers are handled according to our Cancellations & Refund Policy.
• Removal from an event or loss of membership due to policy violations does not guarantee any refund, credit, or transfer.
• The Shop may correct pricing errors, event listing errors, or accidental availability issues when necessary.

4. Code of Conduct & Consent

By entering The Shop or participating in any Shop-related space, you agree to follow our Member Code of Conduct and Consent Policy.

• Consent is mandatory. Ask first. Consent must be clear, informed, enthusiastic, and ongoing.
• Zero touch without permission. Social, sensual, sexual, and scene-related contact all require consent.
• Zero harassment or discrimination. Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, ageism, body shaming, stalking, intimidation, and harassment are prohibited.
• Staff direction must be followed. Arguing with staff, refusing instructions, or escalating a situation may result in removal.
• Violations have consequences. The Shop may issue warnings, pause access, remove attendees, suspend accounts, revoke memberships, or ban individuals when necessary.

5. Privacy, Discretion & Recording Devices

Membership at The Shop is confidential. We expect members and guests to protect the identity, privacy, and discretion of everyone in the space.

• Do not disclose another person’s identity, membership status, attendance, personal details, relationship status, photos, or private information without explicit consent.
• Photography, video recording, audio recording, live streaming, and unauthorized image capture are prohibited unless The Shop has given explicit permission for a specific approved purpose.
• Meta glasses, smart glasses, camera glasses, AI-enabled recording devices, wearable cameras, body cameras, covert recording devices, and similar technology are forbidden on the premises.
• Turning a prohibited device off is not enough. Recording-capable wearable technology must remain outside the premises.
• Privacy violations may result in removal, suspension, revoked membership, or permanent ban.

6. Assumption of Risk

The Shop is a private adult social lounge. Attendance may involve personal, social, emotional, sexual, physical, or interpersonal risk. Some events may include crowds, music, low lighting, adult themes, kink equipment, physical activity, sexual content, and interaction with other members or guests.

By attending, participating, using the space, or interacting with others, you voluntarily assume responsibility for your choices, boundaries, conduct, health, safety, belongings, and participation.

7. Alcohol, Substances & Personal Responsibility

• Illegal drugs are not permitted on the premises.
• BYOB alcohol may be permitted at designated events unless otherwise stated.
• Alcohol must be consumed responsibly. Intoxication is not consent.
• If someone appears impaired, unsafe, disruptive, or unable to consent, staff may intervene or remove them.
• You are responsible for arranging safe transportation and making responsible decisions before, during, and after events.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Shop Social Lounge, Body Shop Night Club, LLC, its owners, managers, staff, volunteers, affiliates, contractors, representatives, and partners are not liable for injury, illness, loss, theft, damage, emotional distress, interpersonal conflict, third-party conduct, or other claims arising from membership, attendance, participation, website use, or use of the facilities.

By attending or participating, you agree to release, defend, indemnify, and hold harmless The Shop and related parties from claims connected to your conduct, choices, participation, policy violations, or interactions with others, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Website Use & Communications

• You agree not to misuse, disrupt, scrape, attack, copy, reverse engineer, or interfere with The Shop website, member systems, event pages, or related technology.
• Website content, event descriptions, pricing, availability, and policies may change without notice.
• By creating an account or purchasing from The Shop, you agree that we may contact you about membership, events, purchases, account status, safety, policy updates, and important operational notices.
• Marketing communications may include opt-out or unsubscribe options when applicable.

10. Third-Party Services & Links

The Shop may link to third-party websites, testing providers, educational resources, payment processors, ticketing tools, platforms, partners, or outside services. These third parties have their own policies, practices, prices, and terms. The Shop is not responsible for third-party content, services, purchases, appointments, platforms, or experiences.

11. Policy Updates & Modifications

The Shop may update these Terms of Service, the Code of Conduct, the Privacy Policy, the Refund Policy, event rules, membership requirements, and other related policies at any time. Continued membership, account use, ticket purchases, website use, or attendance after changes are posted means you accept the current version.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any disputes will be handled exclusively in the courts of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, unless otherwise required by law.
