How do I/we attend events?

We've (I've) never attended a club like this before, do we (I) have to participate in anything?

You are encouraged to socialize, explore, or play a your speed and discretion. Every choice is yours, and every limit is respected.

How many people are attending, can I see a list of the people attending?

For privacy reasons, member signup lists are private.  Attendance various, but the average is 80-300+ attendees per event.

We're concerned about our privacy? Can I/we attend anonymously?

Your personal information (names, email address, phone are kept private. Only an authorized staff members have access to that information. Picture ID's will be required to verify your information. Shortened nicknames (Mike = Michael, Sue = Susan) are acceptable

When interacting with other members, it is common to use screen names or pseudo names.

 
What time do you open and how late can we arrive?

Typically, doors open at 9PM. Be sure to check each event to make sure of the opening time. Member check-in ends at Midnight. If are running late, please call 412-690-0699 and use option #3 to speak to the door staff. Otherwise, do your best to arrive before Midnight.

What forms of ID is acceptable?

Virtually any government-issued ID is acceptable. State ID card or drivers license, or a valid passport are always acceptable.
 

Do you recommend any hotels close by?

With sites like Kayak, Expedia, and Hotwire, finding cheap hotels close by is quite easy. If you select a hotel in Downtown Pittsburgh near Heinz Field and PNC park (North Shore), you will be no more than a 10-minute ride to the club. We always recommend booking at a Marriott hotel as you are guaranteed a clean and comfortable room every time you stay.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Mastercard, Visa, and Discover are accepted online.

My payment was declined online but MY bank says you charged my card, can I show up?

What you are seeing at your bank is an authorization, not a purchase. If you received an AVS error or declined transaction on our site, WE WILL NOT COLLECT THE FUNDS ON HOLD AT YOUR BANK. You will need to resubmit the payment in order to have a paid ticket or membership. The funds on hold at YOUR BANK will be released in a few days based on their banking policies. We do not have the ability to take those funds off hold. You must contact YOUR BANK to get the funds released.

Does The Body Shop sell or provide alcohol?

The club is a BYOB establishment, therefore, if you choose to drink, you must provide it.

It does NOT need to be in a new/sealed container in order to attend.

DO NOT bring ANY beverage coolers into the club. For safety reasons, we do not store them in the club or behind the counter. The club provides plenty of refridgeration for chilled drinks

The Body Shop does provide complimentary sodas, juices, coffee, tea, and water. Cups and ice are included.
